In the gaming community it’s easy to be blinded by the glitter of YouTube and forget that there’s an wealth of top-quality podcasts out there vying for your attention.
Wizards of the Coast have certainly kept their D&D toe in the podcast pond in the past few years, with Dragon Talk and Dungeon Delve.
In 2017 WOTC also used podcasts to promote sourcebook Tomb of Annihilation. But they didn’t stop there, and around the release date teamed up with various D&D liveplay podcast producers to create episodes using its content.
Come 2018 and WOTC are up to their old tricks again with the imminent arrival of Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes, based on the writings of the renowned wizard from the world of Greyhawk.
However, this time their podcast collaborators will be featuring content from the new sourcebook a full 11 days before the official release on 18th May.
So if you fancy wallowing in the new material for almost a fortnight whilst the money for the new book burns a hole in your pocket, you should get on over to The Podcast of Foes for more info.
